Did you know that Lynton & Lynmouth have events happening almost every week, if not every month? From fundraisers and community gatherings to entertainment and markets, these events are not just for fun—they are vital for our town, our local charities, and the causes that keep our community spirit alive.

 

We understand that you can't support everything, but every little bit helps! Whether it’s attending, bringing a friend, spreading the word, sharing a post, or displaying a poster—it all makes a difference.

 

 

Here are just a few of the events that rely on community support: 

• Lynton Town Hall Events – Raising funds for a much-needed Town Hall new roof.
• Lyn Valley Classic Fundraiser – Supporting local charities and community groups.
• Lyn Children’s Party Committee – Providing a free annual party for primary-aged children since 1929—now at risk due to low attendance.
• The Plough Arts – Bringing theatre and entertainment to our area, but struggling with low ticket sales leading to cancellations.
• The Lynseals – Organising sea swims and saunas while fundraising for projects like the reopening of the Lynmouth Victorian Sea Pool.
• Weekly & Monthly Markets – Held in the Town Hall and along the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway entrance, supporting small businesses and local makers.
